OVERVIEW:

Launch 3 Telecom is seeking to add a procurement support role to its team of talented employees.

In the Procurement Support role, you are responsible for the sourcing and purchasing of products on behalf of the procurement team.

This is a great entry level opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can multitask with accuracy.

Duties include the ability to understand company needs based on stock and inventory levels, as well as the understanding of general sales and market trends in the industry. You will be responsible for the development of successful relationships with suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers while ensuring that required products are always in stock.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers.
  • Ensure that orders received are accurate.
  • Ensure products received are not damaged.
  • Monitor and handle products throughout the purchasing process.
  • Work closely with relevant departments to ensure that products purchased are in line with the needs of the company.
  • Maintain current awareness of industry market trends.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify popular products.
  • Keep accurate records of purchases made.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Netsuite experience highly preferred, but not required.
    • Experience working as a purchasing assistant in the industry preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal and social skills.
    • Proven verbal and written communication skills.
    • Positive and professional demeanor.
    • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team.
    • Proven strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
