ROHN 45G tower short bases are designed to be embedded directly in the concrete as the base section for a 45G tower installation. They are set into a hole and then have concrete poured around them to provide a bolted connection to the 45G main tower section. The 45G tower short bases uses double bolted joints which are proven to be the best method of joining tower sections for sturdiness and dependability. The ROHN 45G tower short bases feature a 16.750 in. equilateral triangular design and are constructed of extra heavy duty 1 ¼ in. steel tubing side rails with continuous solid steel rod bracing.
